There’s that little blond girl again sporting her curly hair. It looks like she and her siblings are playing a game of hide and seek but it’s interesting that it’s with a blindfold, probably the easiest way to get the point across on the card in the limited space they had. My Aunt Sadie received this card from her cousin Ronnie Repsher.
This is going to be a short post because I don’t have any pictures of kids playing games. But what I do have is a picture of my Aunt Sadie hamming it up for the camera after a major snowstorm in Newton, New Jersey. I’m not sure what contraption she’s hanging upside down from but it’s certainly interesting.
She’s laughing like crazy and seems to be having some fun in the snow. You can see the family’s 1937 Ford in the background at the house on Pine Street.

What a fun Grandmother! I had one like that. Not sure she’d ever hang upside down like that, but she did do a lot of fun crazy things.

Actually, my dad came back to say it was his sister! Love when the family corrects me. And I know they’re looking at my blog!

A rush of blood to her head? Lovely cards and I remember playing that game at parties

What a great card. She looks so much like Shirley Temple.
And did your grandmother go on in life to be an trapeze artist?
